It was a longer trail than he remembered, & we ended up not seeing any of those things...but the real adventure ended up being us hiking in the dark! The sun decided to set & go away while we were still on the trail, but the biggest fear factor was trying not to trip over all the roots that crossed the trail...we managed that fine....except for Steve. But no worries, he’ll heal up just fine!
We drove back to their place & are tucked in for the night. The weather forecast for tomorrow is sunny & warm...yipee!
